Weedsport Productions Donates Gearbox Driver Experience Proceeds to Support Autism Awareness at Fonda Speedway

On Saturday, July 12, 2025, Weedsport Productions proudly joined forces with AIM Autism and One Zee Tees during Autism Awareness Night at Fonda Speedway, donating 100% of all proceeds generated from The Gearbox Driver Experience to support autism awareness, advocacy, and education programs across the region.

The event combined racing, community, and compassion — showcasing the power of motorsports to bring people together for a meaningful cause.

Racing for a Reason

Set up on the midway at Fonda Speedway, The Gearbox Driver Experience was one of the evening’s most popular attractions. Fans of all ages lined up to take a virtual lap behind the wheel of our state-of-the-art racing simulators — all while knowing that every dollar they spent would go directly toward supporting autism awareness initiatives.

From kids experiencing the thrill of simulated racing for the first time to adults competing for best lap times, the excitement and generosity of the crowd made it a night to remember. The simulators, powered by Mardon PC systems, provided a true racing feel that perfectly matched the spirit of the evening — fast, fun, and full of purpose.

Supporting AIM Autism & One Zee Tees

AIM Autism and One Zee Tees have been instrumental in raising awareness and providing support for families affected by autism throughout the Northeast racing community. Their annual Autism Awareness Night at Fonda Speedway has become a staple event, blending motorsports passion with heartfelt advocacy.

By donating all proceeds from The Gearbox Driver Experience, Weedsport Productions was honored to contribute to these organizations’ continued efforts to fund educational programs, family outreach, and community resources for those on the autism spectrum.

Community, Compassion, and Connection

For Weedsport Productions, this event was about more than just technology or entertainment — it was about using our platform to make a difference.

“The Gearbox Driver Experience is designed to bring people together through racing,” said Bret Moses, General Manager of Weedsport Productions. “Being able to turn that excitement into real impact for such an important cause made the day truly special.”

The event embodied what Weedsport Productions stands for: community involvement, innovation, and giving back through the experiences we create.

Continuing the Mission

Weedsport Productions looks forward to continuing its partnership with AIM Autism, One Zee Tees, and the broader racing community in the years ahead. Through events like this, we aim to keep supporting charitable causes that matter — using motorsports and interactive experiences as a way to unite, educate, and inspire.
