This summer, Weedsport Productions helped transform Marcellus Park into a magical outdoor theater — bringing families, friends, and movie lovers together under the stars for two unforgettable Movie Nights in the Park.

On August 14, the park came alive with the heartwarming adventure “The Wild Robot,” and again on September 12, audiences gathered for the beloved DreamWorks classic “How to Train Your Dragon.” Each event featured a massive mobile LED screen provided by Weedsport Productions, delivering stunning visuals and crystal-clear sound that turned the park into a true cinematic experience.

A Community Tradition Reimagined

These free community movie nights offered something special for everyone — laughter, popcorn, and shared memories. Families spread out blankets on the grass, kids clutched glow sticks and snacks, and movie magic filled the night air. Thanks to the Friends of Marcellus Park, concessions were available throughout the evening, with proceeds supporting park programs and future community events.
